Chiefs in Chama district of Muchinga Province have endorsed and pledged to support the candidature of President Edgar Lungu in the August 12 general election.
Speaking on behalf of other Senga chiefs in the district, Chief Lundu said traditional leaders in Chama want to retain President Lungu after the August 12 general election because of what his government has done for their subjects.
Chief Lundu who was flanked by Senior Chief Kambombo and Chief Tembwe said the PF government has transformed Chama district which he said was neglected by previous administrations.
He said the face of Chama district has been changed under the PF government adding that the district now boasts of having best township roads with streetlights in the region.
The traditional leader said the people of Chama will forever remain indebted to President Lungu and his administration for working hard to improve lives of Zambian citizens through massive infrastructure development and other life -changing programmes.
Chief Lundu said the head of state has proved to be genuinely concerned for the poor and vulnerable in society .
The Traditional leader charged that President Lungu has demonstrated that Zambia will never be the same if he is given another term in office.
