Police reportedly served a search warrant at the home of missing California woman Maya Millete Friday, exactly four months after the defense contractor and mother of three vanished.
A large team of Chula Vista police officers and Border Patrol agents with cadaver dogs visited the suburban San Diego home Friday afternoon, according to Fox News.
The investigators were at the Milletes’ house for at least an hour and 45 minutes, the outlet reported.
Chula Vista police have now executed 23 warrants in connection with the case, according to the article.
Her husband, Larry Millete, initially speculated that his 39-year-old wife left the home to be by herself. He stopped cooperating in the investigation about a month after her Jan. 7 disappearance, authorities said.
Larry suspected that Maya was having an affair last summer, and discussed ordering a hit on the other man, according to a recent Fox report.
“If anything happened to me, it would be Larry,” Maya reportedly told relatives in January.
Police have not named any suspects in the case.
