A Law firm has given Lusaka lawyer JOHN SANGWA seven days in which to pay One Million five hundred Kwacha as legal fees.
This is after SANGWA was condemned with costs by the Constitutional Court after he lost a case against the Electoral Commission of Zambia.
MAKEBI ZULU Advocates says their client who was party to the proceeding has pegged his legal fees at the stated amount.

This is according to a letter of demand dated 18th May, 2021, where Mr. SANGWA has been given bank details where the money is supposed to be deposited.
The Constitutional Court recently condemned Mr. SANGWA with costs after he lost a petition in which he wanted the affidavit for Presidents to have a clause indicating that they have NOT held office twice.
The law firm is acting on behalf of LEWIS MUSHO who was part of the proceedings.
