i PRESS STATEMENT FOR* *IMMEDIATE RELEASEDARE NOT ARREST HHWe have followed social media information circulations suggesting that former Home Affairs Minister Stephen Kampyongo, Major Richard Kachingwe, former Kasama Central Member of Parliament Geoffrey Bwalya Mwamba and former NDC President Chishimba Kambwili in collusion with some villagers in Southern Province have conspired to have HH arrested. We wish to warn that UPND will treat the aforementioned persons as ordinary citizens as many Zambians may be aware that non of them are government officials. We also wish to remind Edgar Lungu not to dare arrest HH.
We have records of statements made by some PF officials stating that HH will never rule while one PF leader said certainly not HH and if HH thinks they will use lies and abuse of authority to get at HH, they will regret.Arresting HH will be at your own peril; it will be a costly exercise which many of them will pay heavily. We shall not tolerate abuse of police to arrest our dearest President between now and August 12th , 2021. This is our resolution nationwide.
