Movement for voter sensitization has called on various political parties to hold peaceful door to door campaigns ahead of the August 12 general election.
Movement Kitwe publicity secretary Chris Phiri says political parties should be tolerant with each other as they conduct their door to door campaigns.
He says politicians should focus on issue based campaigns and not character assassinations.
Speaking to ZNBC news in an interview in Kitwe, Pastor Phiri also called on youths not to be used as tools of violence during campaigns.
He has welcomed the banning of political rallies as the country continues to fight the deadly coronavirus.
Pastor Phiri said it is better to safeguard the lives of the people than pay a huge price later due to negligence.
