Spanish defender Nacho Fernandez renewed his contract with Real Madrid on Thursday.
“The defender penned a deal that ties him to our club until 30 June 2023. After signing his new contract, he was presented with a shirt featuring his name and the number 2023,” Real Madrid said in a statement.
Fernandez helped Los Galacticos win four UEFA Champions League titles, three Super Cup trophies, and four Club World Cups.
The 31-year-old scored 12 goals and eight assists in 233 games for Real Madrid.
