Arsenal unveiled their new number 10 on Thursday.
British midfielder Emile Smith Rowe will wear the hallowed shirt of The Gunners, the club said on Twitter.
Rowe, 20, was promoted from Arsenal’s youth academy and had seven goals and seven assists in 45 games.
After the departure of German star Mesut Ozil to Fenerbahce, the number 10 shirt was vacant.
The jersey has importance for the club as it is worn by stars, including Ozil, Jack Wilshere, Robin Van Persie, and Dutch legend Dennis Bergkamp.
Arsenal was eighth with 61 points in the English Premier League 2020/2021 season.
