President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA is later expected to deliver his keynote address to the 76th Session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York, United States of America.
In his maiden address to the General Assembly, President HICHILEMA is expected to focus on a wide range of issues affecting Zambia and the globe, while seeking possible interventions.
The President will deliver his address in the 4th plenary of the General Assembly at the General Assembly Hall.
Meanwhile, on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly, the President will attend a reception to be hosted by the United Nations Secretary General ANTONIO GUTERRES.
President HICHILEMA will be accompanied to the function which is set to take place at the Delegates’ Lounge at the United Nations Headquarters in New York, by Foreign Affairs
Minister, STANLEY KAKUBO.
The head of state is expected to attend a series of bilateral and multilateral meetings with a number of leaders to discuss a range of domestic and global issues.
