Besiktas draw in match after being spotted 3 goals

Besiktas drew 3-3 Tuesday against Adana Demirspor in the Turkish Super Lig sixth week match at Vodafone Park.

The Black Eagles started well and took the lead in the 20th minute on a goal by Francisco Montero.

Besiktas scored another before the end of the half, this time coming from Josef de Souza in the 43rd minute.

In the second half, the Eagles showed no signs of slowing down and victory appears near when Ridvan Yilmaz made the score 3-0 in the 52nd minute.

But the match seemed to stop when Adana Demirspor took one back when Matias Vargas goal in the 60th minute. Italian star Mario Balotelli’s then had a screamer in the 79th minute that reduced the difference to just one goal and gave the visitors hope.

Besiktas could not prevent Britt Assombalonga’s late goal in the 97th minute and had to settle for the draw at home.

The Istanbul club still tops the Super Lig table with 14 points but Trabzonspor have a chance to take the lead with 13 points with a match on the schedule.
