For the first time, we have a user friendly business, developmental and job creating budget.

We now have equitable distribution of resources. Decentralization and devolution of power has been taken back to local communities. Previously, decentralization was just lip service.

This is a budget that now rewards hard work, entrepreneurs so seize the moment folks – everyone is and can be an employer.

All we need to do is tap into the faculties and grab the opportunity. It’s a great budget but just hope that people participation shall be equitable and not discriminatory at implementation level.

Great move – jobs can now be created by you and me. Awesome move that money has now moved from Lisaka CBD to the whole country, making local people to participate in the economic development of the nation.

PTA fees, tuition fees and examination fees are abolished with immediate effect and parliamentarians gave this pronouncement the loudest cheer.

Given that out of 55,000 unemployed trained teachers 30,000 and 11,200 health workers will now be employed.

However, to those of you with historical.long sticky fingers, you might go to jail as the K25.7 million will be managed by the Constituency Development Committee. Bow there will be fights on usage and control of these funds. So MPs must brace for a tough eagle eye counter check from the local communities. You used to handle K1.6m now it’s nearly K26million

I will give my deep analysis later. Let me get to work for now.
