Government has started the process of reinstating people who were retired from the public service on political, tribal or any other unfair grounds.

Acting Secretary to the Cabinet Patrick Kangwa has advised all the affected former public service workers who wish to be reinstated to send their appeal letters to the permanent secretary for Public Service Management Division -PSMD- for consideration.

Mr. Kangwa said all those sending appeal letters should do so by Friday November 12, 2021 which is the closing date.

He however says those that have already submitted the appeal letters to ministries, provinces and other Government Institutions and have received receipt of the letters of acknowledgement by PSMD should not resubmit.
