President Hakainde Hichilema says government has placed emphasis on economic diplomacy in order to set the country on the right path of Social and Economic Development.
President Hichilema says government’s job is to secure the livelihoods of its citizens and future generations.
He has promised to deliver on the promises.
And the Head of State says following an invitation from the United Kingdom’s Prime Minister’s Trade Envoy Lawrence Robertson, he joined the Minister for Africa from the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office, Vicky Ford, with her team in London, to
explore ways of improving trade links with the United Kingdom.
During the address at the Houses of Parliament, President Hichilema spoke to members of the House of Commons, House of Lords and UK businesses.
He says he illustrated how Zambia’s trade and investment environment is readily available with much emphasis on joint ventures.
