Italian midfielder Nicolo Barella extended his contract with Inter Milan on Friday.
“FC Internazionale Milano is delighted to announce that Nicolo Barella has signed a contract extension with the club. The 24-year-old midfielder’s new deal will run until 30 June 2026,” Inter said in a statement.
This season Barella played 15 matches to score one goal and six assists for Inter.
He is one of the Inter regulars who helped the Nerazzurri win the 2021 Italian Serie A title.
Playing in the center of the park, Barella piled up a total of 102 appearances to score eight goals and produce 27 assists for Inter.
In 2021 summer, he played for the Italian national team to win the UEFA EURO 2020 title.
