Manchester City defeat Watford 3-1, climb to top of Premier League

Manchester City defeated Watford 3-1 in a week 15 match on Saturday and climbed into the top spot of the English Premier League.

Raheem Sterling gave an early lead to The Citizens in the fourth minute at Vicarage Road, Watford.

Manchester City scored their second goal with Bernardo Silva in the 31st minute to cap the scoring in the first half.

Bernardo Silva showed no sign of slowing down in the second half as he scored in the 63rd minute.

Cucho Hernandez scored the only goal of the home team in the 74th minute.

Chelsea lost to West Ham United 3-2 and dropped to the third spot with 33 points. Manchester City climbed to the top spot in the English Premier League with 35 points. Watford is in 17th place with 13 points.

– Origi’s late winner give Liverpool vital victory

Liverpool defeated Wolverhampton 1-0 on a late winner by Belgian forward Divock Origi.

The Reds grabbed a vital away win with Origi’s goal in the 94th minute at Molineux Stadium, Wolverhampton combined with Chelsea’s loss to West Ham United.

After their fourth win in four matches, Liverpool is second in the Premier League with 34 points. Wolverhampton is in the eighth spot with 21 points.
