Losing two vital points in the Serie A title race, Napoli on Monday drew 1-1 with AS Roma in a week 33 game.
Lorenzo Insigne’s penalty goal in the 11th minute brought an early lead to Napoli at Naples’ San Paolo Stadium.
Daniel Fuzato’s red card in the 79th minute of the game didn’t help matters for Roma, but Stephan El Shaarawy’s late equalizer in the 91st minute crushed the hopes of Napoli fans.
After the result, Napoli are third with 67 points, with Inter Milan at second with 69 points, while Italian Serie A leaders AC Milan have 71 points, with just five more weeks to go in the league.
