MacPherson Mukuka-Government says it is considering reversing the deal between ZCCM-IH and GLENCORE involving the sale of Mopani.
Mines and Minerals Development Minister PAUL KABUSWE says government is not in agreement with the manner in which the deal worth 1 Point 5 Billion Dollars was arrived at.
Addressing the Media at his office , Mr. KABUSWE has alleged that the deal does not represent the interest of Zambians.
He says the deal has left Mopani in limping and suffocating in debt which it can hardly settle.
Mr. KABUSWE says the decision to review the deal is aimed at addressing the challenges facing the mine.
