ZNS Commander MALITI SOLOCHI says five of the trucks are laden with Mukula logs while one impounded in Chongwe is laden with precious minerals.
Lieutenant General SOLOCHI says the trucks laden with Mukula logs do not have documentation.
He says three trucks with Mukula Logs are currently in Kafue while two others are in Kasempa.
Speaking when he inspected the impounded trucks in Kafue, General SOLOCHI said it is unfortunate that the country is losing resources through illegal activities.
And Lusaka Province Forestry Officer MORGAN KALUWE said the law provides for timber traders to transport within 100 kilometres and not beyond.
